Hobbies

I am a nurturing and patient mother of 2 children. My son is a curious kindergarten student who loves science and teaching me about dinosaurs and ocean life. My daughter is a busy toddler who likes singing and dancing with her mommy. But only when no one else is looking! In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and children, reading, writing, listening to music, running, yoga, gardening, trying new restaurants, going to the movies and the theatre, painting, and learning something new each day. As a teacher, I embrace the lessons I share with my students and try each day to live with kindness, curiousity, and a desire to help others. I have lived and worked in several different geographic locations throughout the United States including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and the Bay Area in California. These experiences have afforded me the privilege of teaching diverse students from many different backgrounds. I have learned as much from them as I hope that they have learned from me. I look forward to getting to know you and your child and working collaboratively to achieve the academic goals that we will set together.
